The 1st National Workshop on Community Policing to Prevent Violent Extremism, sponsored by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC, in partnership with the UN Development Program and UN Women) was facilitated virtually by JCLEC on 19–21 January. This inaugural workshop was the first of a series of eight capacity-building activities scheduled by the UNODC for next three months, commencing with a discussion on the ASEAN Political and Security Blueprint, which supports unity in diversity. Opening comments by Mr. Collie F.
