This visit marked an important occasion, to showcase JCLEC’s facilities as an international police training centre and to reaffirm our shared commitment to strengthening the long-standing cooperation with the Government of Canada.
During the visit, the Ambassador attended the closing ceremony of a program sponsored by the Government of Canada, “Kartini Series: Strengthening Women’s Leadership in Police Service Delivery – Batch 5.” The program enhances capacity to lead with integrity, communicate effectively, manage change, enhance resilience and performance, and strengthens women’s leadership roles in police service delivery. It also reflects our shared vision to promote gender equality, empower women, and foster innovation in public service, particularly in the policing sector.
JCLEC believes that international support and collaboration with stakeholders are essential to advancing professionalism, enhancing capacity, and improving the quality of police services at both regional and global levels.
