Welcoming the Founding Father of JCLEC at JCLEC

The Jakarta Centre for Law Enforcement Cooperation (JCLEC) was honoured to host Assistant Commissioner Peter Crozier from the Australian Federal Police during his visit to JCLEC in Semarang on 18 August 2025.

Assistant Commissioner Crozier holds a special place in JCLEC’s history as one of its founding fathers. Since its establishment in 2004, he has remained a steadfast supporter, continuously contributing to JCLEC’s growth and success in fostering international law enforcement cooperation.

During his recent visit, Assistant Commissioner Crozier joined the opening ceremony of the JCLEC Executive Leadership Program, where he emphasised the importance of collaboration and knowledge-sharing among law enforcement partners. His remarks highlighted how collective leadership and strong partnerships are vital to addressing regional and global security challenges.

He also participated in the JCLEC Podcast, sharing valuable insights into JCLEC’s origins, leadership development, and cooperative initiatives that have shaped the JCLEC’s pivotal role in strengthening regional security over the past two decades.

The visit concluded with a tree planting ceremony, symbolising not only a commitment to sustainability but also the lasting roots of partnership and trust that JCLEC and its stakeholders continue to nurture.

Assistant Commissioner Crozier’s enduring commitment stands as an inspiration to JCLEC and its partners, reflecting the shared vision of a safer and more secure region through collaboration and trust.
