The Jakarta Centre for Law Enforcement Cooperation (JCLEC) proudly presents the Kartini series programs. 'The series’ namesake originated from an Indonesian national hero whose advocation of rights and education for women greatly boosted the privileges Indonesian women continue to benefit today. These events aim to empower JCLEC’s female staff by teaching them the essential self-development skills in accordance with foundation’s commitment on gender equality.

Keynote speaker for these events is Dr. Jess Murphy, adjunct Lecturer of Torrens University, Australia. She is an acclaimed speaker with over 20 years of experience in senior leadership roles, highlighting aspects required to manage team more effectively by providing comprehensive information about coaching, mentoring and sponsoring.

The first seminar was a great success with more than 50 participants joining in from Indonesia, Australia, Canada, the UK, UNODC, and the Regional Support of the Bali Process.

The second event was attended by 35 JCLEC staff and focused on improving leadership qualities. Due to the COVID pandemic, this session was attended virtually, however this did not reduce the participants enthusiasm to embrace the learnings of the Kartini series.
